This synergism is carried over in their effects or actions on the human body and our cells as well. While botany encompasses not only the biology of plants, it also includes the physiology, ecology and the classification of such. Phytochemistry is the study of phytonutrients aka the plant constituents that composes the biological components. These plant constituents are the compounds that herbalist utilize to exert physiological changes within, yielding the potential healing influence. That which supports the plants in their survival, have the potential to aid us in ours.

At Herbal Restoration the teachings of “Constitutionally” (which describes us as individuals) based “Humoralism” (our chemical makeup) and the “Energetic Qualities” (conditions of bodily tissue: excess, deficiency, hotness, dryness etc) of such are taught in the aim of improving overall balance, strengthening resilience and resistance against disfunction and disease. Utilizing methods and modalities of dietary, herbal and lifestyle modifications.
